Exploring the Magic of the Danube Delta through photo lenses

The Danube Delta is one of the most fascinating and diverse nature reserves in Europe, offering a captivating scene for photography enthusiasts. Photographers can capture unique moments of wildlife, from pelicans and cormorants to flocks of migratory birds in flight. Also, the boat rides offer unique opportunities for panoramic photos of the landscape and daily life in the Delta.
Regardless of the moment of the day or the season, the Danube Delta offers unlimited opportunities for unique and memorable photos.
Travel time: April – October 2026
:: Day 1: fast boat transfer Tulcea – Sulina, 1.5 h, check-in hotel/pension 3*** depending on arrival time.
Evening photo shoot, starting at 4:00 p.m. – on the Danube spillway into the Black Sea, bird island, sunset photo images – 2.5 h; Special fish meal in a local gastronomic center, fish soup, main course, dessert and wine & water 19.30-20.00
:: Day 2: very early photo session, departure approx. 5:00 a.m. – return approx. 9:30 a.m., before breakfast, 3 hours (kayak, canoe or boat) on the Delta channels to photograph birds, flora and fauna of the Danube Delta. Late breakfast (10.00).
Discover the town of Sulina and the wild sandy beach at the mouth of the Danube in the Black Sea. Lunch at one of the city’s terraces on the Danube embarkment.
Birdwatching photo session 3 hours (16.00 -19.00) area of Rosu – Rosulet lakes.
Dinner in the evening after 20.0
:: Day 3: photo trip to Padurea Letea, departure at 9:00 a.m. after breakfast. Photo session 5-6 hours. Dinner at one of the terraces on the cliff of Sulina.
:: Day 4: breakfast and farewell to the Danube Delta. Transfer by fast boat Sulina – Tulcea, departure time 10.00 See you soon for a new perspective!
